Saturday and YC's first day of torture. Starting from Spruces on an overcast day, enthusiasm was high.
A couple of hours later up Reynolds Gulch, and it wasn't quite as easy!
From the top of the Ice Cream Cone the skiing was quite nice settled powder.
From the bottom we cut climbed out of the gully to hit the lower part of Short Swing where the snow was better. YC was done by this point, so back to the car: not a bad effort for the first time out.
