On Sunday, fully charged after a proper night's sleep I went back to Broads Fork. Same route as yesterday: this time the objective was to ski the upper bowl.

The weather was patchy all day - not the best for pictures. We flew up the trail, making it to the foot of the bowl in 2hrs 20min.

First run was underneath O'Sullivan. A lovely mixture of breakable crust and mashed potatoes!

We skied down to the flats at 9,500', turned around and ascended again, this time to Tanners Col.

The air was quite still, but the light was crappy. Here's looking down Tanners at LCC from the Col.

Skiing down the couloir into Broads was a bit sketchy at the top - more breakable crusts.

Lower down, and into the apron we were able to make some nice turns in the now 'primed' mashed potatoes.

Andrew letting loose in the lower part of the bowl.

Tracks underneath O'Sullivan.

Tanners Col, with Dromedary on the left and the ridge to O'Sullivan on the left.

We banged out a couple more laps in the bowl.

Small turns were not popular today!

A fun, if short day, in Upper Broads. We left mid afternoon as the wet activity was starting to pick up.
