It was warm again on Tuesday. With the sun having been out full force the day before, true north was the way ahead. The Snowbird gates had been closed for some time, and having seen a single track in it the day before, the decision was made to go to Scotties.

Leaving from the White Pine Lot, we seemed to miss the usual jeep trail, and instead navigated a direct approach through some very steep trees. We gained the upper section of the Bowl lookers right and ascended to the ridge. Ascending the ridge to the top didn't seem all that possible, so we took an entrance on the right. The snow was good, if a bit soggy.

Skiing down on LCC with clearly more than one track present!

The sun kept peeking out, but with the still air, it was stifling in their.

The best skiing appeared to be in the lower angle areas.

Coming back up for more, the White Pine Lot being in the bottom left of the picture.

Going a bit higher, this time to lookers left, we found less heat affected powder.

Powderkeg training took over at this point, with some valiant efforts to skin up and down the main bowl as fast as possible. After lunch, we skinned above Scottie's to No Name peak and skied some lines off the top.

It was around here that the light became amazingly flat, rendering pictures useless.

Another lap from the lower section of Scottie's to No Name peak and we skied back down through the heavy snow to the parking lot.
