On Wednesday I went to Kessler with a Splitter. The winds had picked up during the night and had transported some snow around. During the day it was partially cloudy and the winds dropped off during the afternoon. We ascended from Jordan Pines, taking the usual route of lookers left of the Lawnmower. There was up to of 1' light density powder on top of a generally good base. We noticed some fairly significant loading at the top of Lawnmower, so we just skied a couple of lines on the NE face. The new snow was sluffing a lot but it was easily manageable. Another very good day on Kessler.
