Over the weekend the snow continued to fall with totals adding up to 1'. Unfortunately the wind blew and the snow came inverted. On Monday we decided to go for 10,000' on Kessler. We were expecting a break in the weather in the morning followed by snow in the afternoon: instead we got overcast skies.

On the way up.

The first two runs were on the NE flank finding some decent powder on higher elevations especially in the trees.

During the day temperatures started to rise turning the snow to mashed potatoes. We decided that the snow didn't justify the effort so we just summited Kessler for a total of 8,000'

Crossing the Lawnmower on the way to the summit.

Our descent was via Argenta. We took the Greaseball chute on the exit. There surface was wind-board with good conditions for ripping a few turns. Unfortunately I ran over a rock near the choke and had a double projection with my sticks running 200' down the slide path.
