On Thursday, clear skies and cold temperatures persisted - a fine day for a tour. I went up Bear Trap again, this time ascending the ridge to the peak at 10,006, above Dutch Draw and the Canyons.

There was some nice wind-scouring up there.

Looking back over to Gobblers.

I stuck to the low angle NW facing trees.

There were plenty of settlement cones on the way out.

On Friday, as some clouds rolled in, I ascended Mill D North via Dog Lake to Little Water Peak.

Mill Creek from the Peak.

Cardiff Fork.

On the wind-scoured ridge there were some old ski tracks.

The bowl looked variable, so I went back down the ridge and cut into Little Water Gulch.

Surface hoar in the trees climbing back to the ridge.
