During my brief return to NY, another system had rolled in, dropping 2-3' of precipitation. When it hadn't been insanely windy, the skiing was allegedly quite good. Unfortunately, this had also loaded up our snowpack and various wind slabs had been reported. I thought it better to stay in. This was a shame because it did look good.
The weather was quite nice.
West facing slopes had been packed down by the wind, but some nice fluff remained on the East facers
So time for a few jumps.
