With Alta due to open tomorrow (Friday), I though that I should skin up Baldy to ski Main Chute before the hoards arrived. Good news was in the air as the dry spell appeared to be ending. Stormy weather and considerable snowfall are expected through the weekend and into next week! However, how all this is going to sit on our facets-to-the-ground snowpack remains to be seen.
