After a week in Whistler I returned to Salt Lake. High pressue seemed to be sitting over all areas west of the Rockies, so with little snow in the forecast and an increasingly bad foot, I though it best to head back. The thin snowpack was deteriorating fast. The sunny aspects were hideously crust and the shady ones were faceted - either to the ice crust from a few weeks back or to the ground. Alta wasn't open, so I headed up to Supreme to check out the view.

Superior (and the moon!).

Greely.

Some recrystallized pow in the trees.

LCC from Supreme.
