The ZipFit liners, purchased towards the end of last season were starting to cause all sorts of problems. The gel inside had 'sunk' during the summer, making them just about impossible to put on. The end result two very blistered heals. The weather on Tuesday looked terrible so I took a day off! Today, the temperature inversion started, creating some nice touring conditions.
Whistler above the fog.

Breaking trail up 7th.

I followed the boarders line across the gut of the Horstman

Prime Rib was starting to look a bit cut up.

It was all rather quiet.

The destination was never in doubt!

Thinking that Sapphire might be a bit rocky, and not being a fan of Ruby, I decided to take the middle entrance into Diamond.

Despite a few rocks, the skiing was good.

With a few compulsory hops!

We found a bit of powder too. All in all, good coverage for mid November.
